Description:
Hi! My name is Kim. I recently moved to the North Bay from Texas. I moved to the Bay Area last year to work for an internet advertising agency located in the city. After realizing this is not my passion, I am interested in picking up where I left off babysitting kids. Beginning at age 12 and after working with kids in various activities throughout high school and college, kids and sports are two things I still really enjoy. Historically I have found ways to enjoy both at once.
I have been a lifeguard, gymnastics teacher, soccer coach, and have over 15 years experience in childcare both professionally and as a side job.
Over the summer I was involved with a movement call Piece by Peace. Within Peace by Piece is a soccer camp that took place in July that I assistant coached. The genesis of the camp is to bring under privileged kids of San Rafael together with other community youth.
Last year I worked for a service called Seeking Sitters (https://www.seekingsitters.com/).
The service was a members only club located in North Dallas where families could select from a bio of pre-hired and pre-screened babysitters picked by the franchisee, a North Dallas mother herself. Seeking sitters performed background checks and required sitters to be CPR certified, as well as sign a confidentiality agreement in the case that we were chosen to sit for a number of our high profile clients. The owner of the service would serve as the most recent and valid reference for your convenience. Seeking sitters is a prominent babysitting service throughout the South and Midwest.
In summation, I experience joy when I have the opportunity to interact with children who, with insatiable curiosity, glean inspiration from the minute aspects of life that I think adults may often take for granted.
I am 28 years old, Caucasian with moderate Spanish proficiency. I can provide personal references and local professional references, a social security card and a California drivers license with insurance. I can provide proof that I can work legally in the US if needed. I have a perfect driving record and have had no accidents in the last 6 years. I attend USF in the Professional Studies program at USF one night a week from 6:15-10:15 (Tuesday's). The program is accelerated and designed for busy professionals, so it is condensed to one night a week leaving me very flexible as a result!I have a part-time gig with a family that is M-F in the afternoon and the hours are flexible. I am looking to supplement my part time gig with babysitting and I have been very fortunate in that I have had an abundance of work available to me! I think I am a great sitter and I guess the parents I work for do too!
I would like to be avaiable to several families to pet-sit, babysit, house sit and provide great care for you and your family, so please give me a call and hopefully we can meet and work together some day!!!
