Eugene. My sister Lindsey confirmed a job for you to help her and her roommate move into their apartment this last weekend. Not only were you unable to show up, but you couldn't even have the courtesy to answer your phone or return the call to let them know that you were not going to show up. Absolutely and completely unprofessional. Although me and my Dad were able to somehow save the day and move my sister and her roommate in, I highly suggest that you never hire Eugene as your mover, unless you want a unreliable, unprofessional worker. If you’re scheduling service with Eugene, make sure you have a backup! I had arranged with Eugene to have 2 people help my roommate and I unload a truck of furniture into our apartment in San Francisco, and no one ever showed up! What was confirmed via email and phone to be a simple 2 hour job, resulted in a horrible move-in day of 2 girls stranded with a UHaul of heavy furniture that we had to scramble to find help moving into our apartment on the 3rd floor. Three calls to Eugene’s cell-phone over the 2-hour period he arranged to help us, and no answer. Not even a courtesy call to cancel the appointment. A move-in originally planned to work like clockwork resulted in a rental truck late-fee, expensive last minute moving help, and 2 distraught girls with an incomplete move, thanks to Eugene. I am very shocked due to the great reviews on this page, and I will not hire Eugene and his men for a job in the future, unless I have a Plan B, because he probably won’t show up. 1. Our company paid the worker $16/hr, the worker received $100 in the end of the day. 2. Since our regular worker got in the accident one day before the job, we had no choice but to hire alternative worker for that particular day. We did a very good job unloading this huge 50 feet truck in 6 hours.

This company did not pay one of the helpers they brought with them. Two guys from this company showed up with a helper that they picked up from the streets in San Francisco. This helper was a Mexican gentleman; he worked very hard for 6 hours with almost no interruptions, he was polite and didn’t stop working for the 6 hours they were here. It seems like they expected him to work the hardest, and they did not pay him at the end of the day. They drove him back to San Francisco and before dropping him off they told him that the $40 tip my husband gave to each of the individuals was his payment for a very-hard 6 hours work. I had given my phone number to this gentleman to call me in case they didn’t pay him (I had a strong feeling that this company will not act fair with this person) …and in fact, that happened. The poor man called me desperate asking for help because all what he was getting was $40 that my husband gave him as a tip…at the time he called me he was still with the “company people” and I asked him to put them on the phone but they refused to talk to me. I can not believe someone will abuse a worker that proved to work very hard. This company charged us per hour for 3 people and I think this Mexican gentleman deserved a fair hourly compensation as the other two persons that come. (Mon, Jun. 02, 2008)
